Main shop (Blue House) opens at 10am today — worry not with easy parking in our lot! While you browse, that is; or 15 minutes in our driveway if you’re just picking up 😊 That just didn’t rhyme as cute.. so— Used books in the Brick House opens at 1pm; both open till 5:30! Roll Tide!

We've updated our hours again (just slightly!) The 'Blue House' hours at 1928 7th St. are the same as before: Mon-Sat 10am-5:30pm, closed on Sundays. We've updated our hours again (just slightly!) The 'Blue House' hours at 1928 7th St. are the same as before: Mon-Sat 10am-5:30pm, closed on Sundays. That's where you can find new books (all genres) used children's picture books, gifts, and a few rare books. Our 'Brick House' hours at 651 20th Ave. (right behind the Blue House; used and rare books, and event space) are now Monday, 10am-5:30pm (BOGO and used book drop-off day), Tuesday and Wednesday are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, and Thur-Sat are 10am-5:30pm, when no used book drop-offs will be accepted. To schedule an appointment for the Brick House on a Tuesday or Wednesday, either for used book drop-offs, rare book or event consultations, or for quiet browsing time, please call (205) 632-5331.
